Terms of Use — Lustre

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Lustre ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which applies to your license to use the App. If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA governs your license. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Lustre Does

Lustre is a private catalog for your jewelry, watches, and precious metals. It lets you photograph and describe your pieces, browse them, and see an estimated value for your collection based on current spot-metal prices.

Important: Valuation Is an Estimate — Not Financial or Appraisal Advice

Any value, worth, gain/loss, or price figure shown in the App is an estimate of metal content for your personal reference only. It is calculated from the weights, purity, and details you enter and from third-party spot-metal prices, which may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. It is not a professional appraisal, an offer to buy or sell, insurance valuation, or financial, investment, or tax advice, and must not be relied upon as such. Actual resale, insurance, or appraised values can differ significantly. For any decision that matters, consult a qualified jeweler, appraiser, or financial professional. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter and for any decisions you make.

License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to extract the App's source, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Apple's terms.

Subscriptions and Billing

• Lustre is free to download and use with limits. "Lustre Pro" is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) and as a one-time lifetime purchase, via Apple In-App Purchase.
• Indicative pricing: $4.99 / month, $29.99 / year (with a 7-day free trial), or $79.99 once for the lifetime (non-consumable) purchase. Final pricing is shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period for trial subscriptions.
• A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not auto-renew.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's terms; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

Your Content

Your pieces, their photos, and the details you enter stay on your device. You are responsible for your own content. We claim no ownership of it and do not access it.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, branding (including the Lustre name and mark), and underlying technology are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights to them except the limited license above.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that valuations, spot prices, or any other information in the App are accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial loss or damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or your reliance on its valuations or content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. This does not affect any rights granted to you, or obligations imposed on Apple, under the Apple EULA.
