Terms of Use — Prepd
Effective date: June 9, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Prepd ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which applies to your license to use the App. If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA governs your license. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Important: Informational Use Only — Not Professional Advice
Prepd provides general, pre-prepared checklists to help you plan and pack. The lists, item suggestions, quantities, and tips are for general informational and organizational purposes only. They are not professional, medical, health, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or religious advice, and must not be relied upon as such.
Some lists cover sensitive situations — for example health and recovery (hospital stays, surgery recovery, chronic-care kits), emergency preparedness (disaster kits, first aid), and religious observance (Hajj, Umrah, fasting). For any such matter you must rely on a qualified professional, the relevant official authority, or recognized religious guidance — not on the App. The App is not a substitute for professional judgment, medical care, or emergency services. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
You are solely responsible for what you pack, prepare, and do, and for verifying that any item or list is appropriate, complete, accurate, lawful, and safe for your specific circumstances.
AI-Generated Content
Prepd's "Create" feature can generate lists using on-device AI. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Always review and verify AI-generated lists before relying on them. We make no representation that AI output is accurate or fit for any purpose.
License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to extract the App's curated content or source, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Apple's terms.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Prepd is free to download and use. "Prepd Pro" is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Pricing is shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's terms; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
Your Content
Lists you create and items you add stay on your device. You are responsible for your own content. We claim no ownership of it and do not access it.
Intellectual Property
The App, its curated checklists, design, branding (including the Prepd name and mark), and underlying technology are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights to them except the limited license above.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App or its content is accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, harm, or damages of any kind arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or reliance on its content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. This does not affect any rights granted to you, or obligations imposed on Apple, under the Apple EULA.
